Experience F.W. Murnau’s 1922 silent horror classic Nosferatu with a live original score by Pittsburgh composer Tom Roberts.

Originally commissioned by the Pittsburgh Silent Film Society and Pittsburgh Cultural Trust to mark the film’s centennial, Roberts’ expansive score draws on the sounds of early German Romantic composers and traditional Romanian Roma music.

Widely regarded as one of the earliest—and most influential—vampire films, Nosferatu continues to captivate audiences with its haunting cinematography and unforgettable portrayal of Count Orlok.

See the film as it was meant to be experienced: in community and  accompanied by Roberts’ dramatic live score.
